This week the Fife friends get all nationalistic and Do a St Andrews Day special. You join them after a feast of Stephens (Bakery), Where good King Bruce looked down on them as they munched on Steak Bridies purchased with the Vouchers they kindly received from the team at Stephen’s after the guys reviewed the Drive Thru in January. Mark lays down some St Andrew Facts on us, which is interesting because no one knew a thing about him!
This week they discuss the new Film on Netflix, The Outlaw King! A film Starring Chris Pine about King Robert the Bruce and filmed locally in Dunfermline, across Fife and Scotland. They give it a thorough reviewing and pretty intense breakdown!
While on the Netflix bandwagon, the friends get stuck into the news that The Marvel/Netflix series Daredevil has been surprisingly/not surprisingly cancelled and what this means for the future of Marvel shows on Netflix and whether we will see the Man without fear turn up elsewhere in the Marvel cinematic Universe.
The guys also review their Stephen’s Lunch and do a live taste test of the bakery’s award winning Steak and Haggis pie.
Desert Island Dicks
Then the Friends go out for a bit of sail and low and behold end up on the Desert island of Dicks once more. This week, on the St Andrew day theme they’ve decided to bring along some of their own people who they feel should be patron saints of the Island.
Want to know who it is they are bringing?
Then listen in!
